ECO HOTEL & RESTAURANT

In this project we were asked to take an old factory building in Colubus IN and turn it into what we thought the community needed.  I choose to design a Hotel & Restaurant. With all of the business at Cummins & traveling people needing a place to stay, I decided that Columbus could use another hotel.  Since we are using an existing building, I decided to focus on an eco friendly design. The spaces in the hotel include a lobby, lounge, restaurant, offices & meeting space, a cafe, & over 75 hotel rooms.  Since the building used to be a furniture factory, I decided to stick with industrial (and recycled) materials like concrete and wood.
